100% Leased! Dunlawton Commons Shopping Center in Port Orange Now Open
Charles Wayne Fully Leases Dunlawton Commons Shopping Center in Port Orange
PORT ORANGE, FL. The new Dunlawton Commons shopping center, located at 1760 Dunlawton Ave., is now 100% leased. Sleep Number beds and Tijuana Flats are currently open for business, and the Chicken Salad Chick restaurant plans to open in August.
Charles Wayne Properties, Inc. represented the landlord, Dunlawton Yorktowne Unit 4, LLC in all transactions.
The latest lease signed at the center is with Papa John’s Pizza. John Trost of SVN Alliance Commercial Real Estate Advisors represented the tenant. Papa John’s will be taking approximately 2,000 s.f. at the property.
Papa John’s joins Sleep Number, a brand of Select Comfort (NASDAQ: SCSS) along with fast casual restaurant chains Tijuana Flats and Chicken Salad Chick. The development is shadow-anchored by LA Fitness, Goodwill, and BJ’s Wholesale.
Dunlawton Commons is positioned adjacent to Pollo Tropical on Dunlawton Ave. in Port Orange. In addition to the leases completed at the Dunlawton Commons Shopping Center, Charles Wayne Properties, Inc. also worked with the owners to bring WaWa, Pollo Tropical, Goodwill, and Culver’s to the larger overall project at the intersection of Dunlawton Ave. and Yorktowne Blvd. To date, five parcels in the project are occupied, and only one parcel remains for another user.
Ted Lightman, Vice President with Charles Wayne Properties, Inc. leased the center. Lightman indicates that ownership is excited to have such strong tenants at Dunlawton Commons. The center is one of the best positioned and high-profile retail sites available in Port Orange, and part of the greater Daytona Beach market.
The Dunlawton Commons shopping center is owned by Dunlawton Yorktowne Unit 4, LLC, and the property was co-developed by principals of Holub Development, based in Ormond Beach, Florida, and Charles Wayne Properties, Inc., based in Daytona Beach, Florida.
