CWP Brings Goodwill & Culver’s to Port Orange Retail Project

Affiliates of Dunlawton Yorktowne, LLC recently ground leased portions of the project at the intersection of Dunlawton Ave. and Yorktowne Blvd. Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc. will co-anchor the project, which is currently already anchored by BJ’s Wholesale and LA Fitness.

Culver’s, a Wisconsin-based restaurant chain specializing in quality hamburgers and frozen custard is locating on the outparcel between Pollo Tropical and WaWa.

Goodwill will be constructing a +/- 23,000 square foot flagship retail store, which will be designed with a look and shopping experience similar to that of a department store.

Only two opportunities remain for retailers and restaurants looking to locate in the project.  The ownership, comprised of affiliates of Holub Development and Charles Wayne Properties, has retained Ted Lightman of Charles Wayne Properties to lease a strip center on the one remaining outparcel just south of the Pollo Tropical.  Additionally, there is a 0.55 acre pad site available for ground lease at the Yorktowne Blvd. access point.

Charles Wayne Properties, Inc. represented the landlord in both transactions.  Goodwill was represented by Andy Hawkins of CNL, and Culver’s was represented by Bobby Palta of CBRE.

The Dunlawton Ave. corridor has been one of the most dynamic retail and commercial thoroughfares in all of Volusia County, with national and regional chains including BJ’s Wholesale, WaWa, LA Fitness, and more targeting this area as the retail location of choice in the greater Daytona Beach market.

Charles Wayne Properties, Inc. is one of Central Florida’s largest commercial brokerage, management and development firms.
