Charles Wayne Properties, Inc. Sells Ormond Beach Interchange Property

Sold by CWP - June 2012

Ormond Interchange Partnership sold the retail property and former Waffle House location at 1566 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, Florida to Sunoco, Inc.  The property sold for $875,000.

The transaction was handled by Ted Lightman of Charles Wayne Properties, Inc. Charles Wayne was the only broker involved in the transaction.

The property is situated in the heart of Ormond Beach’s primary retail corridor.  The property has a 5,485 s.f. building on 0.82 acres just east of I-95 on Granada Blvd.

Demand for prime retail real estate at strong interchange locations remains high.

“This transaction is an example of strong demand in one of Volusia County’s most desirable retail locations,” Lightman said.   “Sunoco owns the site adjacent to this property and has expanded their presence in this market by combining the two properties.  This creates a substantial retail presence on Granada Blvd. at the I-95 interchange.  The assemblage of the two sites affords outstanding visibility and access in a location that is mature and where most commercial sites are already developed and/or not for sale.  This acquisition allows Sunoco to out-position competitors in this high-traffic segment of the Ormond market.”
